Inaugural managing director and board member since 2001.  Trent has been pivotal in guiding innovative product development, the public listing process and the strategic management of the company. He has extensive experience in information technology, mining and environmental consultancies and has held a number of business management roles including 5 years as a divisional manager at Carbon Consulting International. Trent is a non-executive director of Xing Long Resources Pty Ltd.

Ray Miller

Chairman

Director since August 2007 and Chairman since April 2008.  Ray has an extensive and diverse background in executive management and directorships with achievements in operations, finance and strategy development for both international and domestic corporations.  He is currently managing director of Gallipoli Mining Pty Ltd and was formerly chief financial officer at MIM Holdings and vice president finance at BHP Steelmaking and Energy Materials.  Ray is a fellow of both the Australian Institute of Company Directors and Australian Society of CPA’s.

John Wasik

Non-executive Director

Mr Wasik has an extensive and diverse international and domestic background in executive management with achievements in operations, strategy development and corporate experience at both Australian and International mining companies. He is currently a Director of Ampcontrol Pty Ltd and an Alternate Director of CSM Energy. He has held a number of senior positions within Peabody Energy Corporation including Group Executive-Southwest Operations in the United States and General Manager – Ravensworth/Narama Operations in Australia. Mr Wasik has also served on a number of committees within the NSW mining industry and the NSW Minerals Council. He has a Bachelor of Science (Mineral Exploitation) degree with over 24 years experience in the Australian and international mining industry. He is a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Ron Fredericksen

Non-executive Director

Director Since February 2009. Ron has over 23 years experience in Australian and Latin American mining operations. Ron brings broad practical experience in information technology management, risk management, strategy and business development. He has a strong background and experience in the role and alignment of technology in mining. Ron has formerly held senior executive positions as Global Lead ITC for the BHP Billiton Carbon Steel Materials Group and IT Manager for both BHP Billiton Mitsubishi Alliance (BMA Coal) and Minera Escondida Limitada (Chile). He is experienced in establishing and conducting business in Latin America (Chile, Peru, Colombia and Bolivia).

Appointed company secretary in May 2008. Alana is responsible for the financial management of the company. Alana is a qualified CPA and has extensive experience in financial reporting, audit, taxation and statutory matters, quality assurance and business planning. Prior to joining QMASTOR Limited, Alana held positions of senior accountant for a number of prominent businesses in the chartered accountancy, property, retail motor and logistics industries.
