Trent Bagnall – Managing Director
Trent was appointed inaugural Managing Director of QMASTOR Limited in 2001 and has the led the initial development of the company. Mr Bagnall has been pivotal in guiding innovative product development, the public listing process and the strategic management of the company.
Trent has held a number of business management roles including over 5 years at Carbon Consulting International, and has owned and managed information technology and environmental consultancies.
Trent holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Newcastle.
Steve Maxwell – Chief Operating Officer
Steve has over 20 years experience adding value to mining and metallurgical businesses. Steve has driven the growth of QMASTOR Limited for over 8 years, leading the sales, marketing and customer service functions. Steve has also previously worked for Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), BHP Information Technology and BHP Steel.
Steve’s focus on adding value has been through the application of supply chain, total quality and financial management methodologies; many of which were either driven or enabled by applied information technology management. Steve has consulting, marketing and operations management experience.
Steve has presented papers on “Optimising your Supply Chain through Electronic Commerce”, "Improving Product Traceability across the Supply Chain", “Improving efficiency and managing resources effectively within bulk terminals” and “Integrated Information Systems in Large Open Pit Operations”
Steve holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Newcastle and an Associate Diploma of Applied Science (Metallurgy) from the Hunter Institute of Technology.
Richard Harris - Professional Services Manager
Richard Harris joined QMASTOR Limited in April 2011, taking responsibility for QMASTOR‟s global Service Delivery function. Commencing his career as an Analyst Programmer, Richard has gone on to hold a number of senior and varied roles in organisations focused on delivering software solutions to customers. Having worked across a range of industries including Banking & Finance, Superannuation, Automotive, Information Management and Custom Software Solutions, he has a broad set of experiences with expertise particularly focused on project management and the implementation of enterprise wide solutions. Richard has worked for organisation such as Westpac, Logica, Technology One and Tower Software. Most recently Richard worked for Hewlett Packard managing the end-to-end software programs for a division of HP Software.
Richard holds a Bachelor of Computing Science degree from the University of Wollongong
Alana Gudgeon - Finance Manager
Alana has over 15 years experience in management and senior accounting roles and has been a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) since 2002. Alana has extensive experience in financial reporting, audit, taxation and statutory matters, quality assurance and business planning.
Alana has a broad background in financial management acquired across a number of industries including logistics/transportation, property, retail motor; legal, manufacturing and chartered accounting.
Alana holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Newcastle and an Associate Diploma in Accounting from Newcastle TAFE.
Hayden Shilling - Chief Technology Officer
Hayden has over 10 years experience in information technology and engineering disciplines. Since 2000 Hayden has led the development and technical direction for the software systems at QMASTOR Limited.
Hayden has vast experience in software engineering, database design and development backed by experience with BHP and Capral Aluminium in process engineering and laboratories.
Hayden holds a Master of Information Technology and Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical) from the University of Newcastle.
Rob Beaumont – Product Development Manager
Rob has over 10 years of product development management experience ascertained through a variety of management and leadership roles at a number of leading companies in the banking and insurance industries. Rob has considerable experience managing and leading large development teams and also has experience owning and managing an IT consulting business.
Rob holds a Bachelor of Earth Science (Geology) from the University of Waikato (NZ) and has completed a range of certificates in advanced programming, systems administration and project management.
