QMASTOR Limited (ASX: QML)-Australia's leading supplier of bulk materials management information systems - announced today that it has secured a 5-year contract with Anglo Coal Australia (ACA) for the provision and ongoing support of QMASTOR’s Pit to Port .net product as ACA’s Marketing and Logistics System (AMS).
The scope of the project involves management of more than 30 million tonnes of coal per annum from all of Anglo Coal Australia’s major operating mines: Dartbrook & Drayton in NSW and Callide, German Creek, Moranbah North & Moura in Queensland. The QMASTOR installation will provide significant support for ACA’s Brisbane Office. ACA have a number of mines under development and as these come on line they will be added to the system.
The QMASTOR system will provide operations, logistics, marketing, commercial process automation and decision support to enhance management of the export coal supply chain from mine to the international customer. The system will also provide management of domestic coal supplied to Power stations owned by Macquarie Generation (NSW) & CS Energy (QLD).
This is QMASTOR Limited’s largest undertaking so far and demonstrates its ability to supply systems to major global commodity companies both in Australia and internationally. The recent rationalisation of the mining industry and the resulting volume growth has stretched existing internal systems and directed the large producers to QMASTOR Limited’s unique products specifically designed to meet such needs.
